Default Zango Fraud

So, I'm sitting here this morning wondering why I've spent $300, and made about $26.

I log in to Zango, and notice my avg. CPV is $0.41...

What. The. F***?

I do know that I have my max autobid set to $1.00, so I'm thinking... "Did some prick drive the cpv up that high?"

Nope. Turns out, Zango f***** up again, and changed one of my bids to $1.000 - MANUAL? WTF? I NEVER did that. I haven't even touched those bids in days, in this happened since yesterday.

So, they charged me $170 for 170 views. WTF?

I obviously emailed them asking for credit back to my account. I mean, I told them go ahead and charge me the $5 it would have cost or whatever - but I want my money back.

I'll wait to hear what they say. If they're pricks about it and don't credit back to my account - they just lost business because I'm not going to deal with that BS.

I also notice their Auto-bid feature is being screwed up. It's supposed to bid 0.001 higher than the next bidder, but most times I notice it bidding 0.002 or even 0.01 higher.

Pricks

It might be best to see what the mistake is and how it was resolved before you post a negative review about them. I understand being frustrated, but it makes someone else coming and reading about them to have a preconceived opinion that may or may not have merit.

The point is they screwed up. Irregardless of their response. Not surprisingly, they asked me if it was my fault and that I may have set the bids to manual. They said if that's not the case, they'll check my "logs".

I wouldn't be surprised if they deny crediting my account. I also noticed another destination page with the same $1 bids. Which took another $14 out of my balance for 14 views.

And again, irregardless of their "response", their system is extremely faulty. Every single time I check my bids, I notice issues with them. Some bids that should be manually, are now automatic and set to 5 cents instead of $0.014 - hm...

And, their "autobid" feature has in some cases smacked my bid(s) up 20 cents higher than the previous bidders, when it shouldn't be. Even if someone makes their bid that high, then drops it down, it's supposed to drop back down with it...

I'm just not very impressed with their system, or support.

fuck me, did they give you a refund. I've had pretty good support from them so far, but stories like these are no good.

Hi Ryan,

Is it possible that you updated the max bid to $1 before you set it on automatic? This would set your current bid to $1. If this doesn?t fit with what you?re seeing on your end, let us know and we can pull the logs for your account. Please also let us know which other ads and keywords this has happened with.

Thanks!

And then my replies;

Hello,

It is a possibility, but I don't think this is a user error. If it was me that set the bid to $1 manual, it's because the system gave me an error, or something that happened which didn't display the $1 bid.

However, here is my process I use:

I click "Update Keywords" to make them the highest bids. Then, I click it from "Manual" to "Auto", then set the bid to $1.00. Then, I "always" click on "Save" - instead of "Save and Continue". That way, I can see that my bid has maintained it's spot, and obviously hasn't gone over $0.01 over the next highest bidder.

I also don't remember changing bids since the 2nd to last time I exported a report which included the CPV. Irregardless, I would have never set a manual bid to $1. If your logs show that I did, I obviously wasn't showed my actual bid before moving on to the next destination page.

As far as other keywords this has happened with:

I don't have that information, as I've most likely edited the ones with problems. And right now, the system isn't allowing me to go into my campaigns easily. It takes about 10 tries to even enter into my campaigns. But, I was more referring to there being a problem with the auto bids, as they aren't auto-bidding correctly. Although, earlier today I notice that a lot of my manual bids have been changed to auto-bids, that I specifically remember have been on manual.

Thanks,
Ryan

Hello again,

Now that the system isn't lagging, I was able to check more of my destination pages. I noticed that the first ULR in ---- was also set to manual, with $1 bids - I was charged $14 for 14 views. Which again, is ridiculous. I find it highly unlikely that I "accidentally" had two seperate bids at $1.00 - manual.

If you could credit about $13, in addition to the $159, I would very much appreciate it!

Thanks so much,

The last one was sent yesterday at 1PM my/their time. I'm assuming they already read it and haven't responded. My guess, is they probably won't respond or credit my account - that's just the vibe I'm getting from them. Of course, I'll post an update on what happens.

One my account balance hits $0, I'll send them another email saying I'd love to keep doing business with them, but if they aren't going to credit my account - that's extremely unprofessional, and doesn't give me a good viewpoint of what future business with their company looks like.

And yes, they've been good with support for me in the past. However, it's changed. I've send in about 3 different emails, 3 different days, using both the email they sent from, as well as their "contact us" form, and they never replied.
