Default Seeing Popups

Anyone had any luck actually seeing any TV popups? I've signed up with gamevance, downloaded the software, and am browsing around sites that I know have ads on them, but no popups!

I made sure I signed up and am browsing from a US IP address. Tried using IE and FF, but nothing. Amazing, can get rid of popups when you don't want them, and can't get any when you do!

I am seeing their contextual links, so the adware is certainly there. Perhaps it takes a while for them to track browsing habits?

I have the same problem. I asked my "AM" over there, but he said "I gotta go - ask others". hahaha

I'm not able to get TV pop ups either, but I know it's installed because I get lots of their links on my browser pages where text is underlined with double green lines. When you hover over the linked text, a trafficvance/gamevance box pops up and describes the ad.

I do get lots of Media Traffic display pop ups. You can tell Media Traffic is working when you have the Vomba Icon on your lower screen's bar. I make sure to run IE and Vomba pops a lot -- I also clear out cookies so it will pop more often to help me in my research.

Ironically, the other day I went to website and that triggered a Media Traffic pop up with a new screen -- and on that ad's page there was text that was hyperlinked by TrafficVance. lol

That's awesome. I don't want to know what happens when you have Vomba/gamevance/zango installed all at once. (shudder)

Do you run Vomba on a virtual machine?

I've got a few computers around here and have Vomba and Gamevance installed on the same computer.

Surprisingly... no problems yet.

I'm still waiting for that endless loop of screens where each adware is triggering the other - in a constant back and forth procession of screen after popped screen (kind of like when you exit some of those email submits and they keep popping screens on you).

It started innocently enough. I had installed Vomba first and then removed it. Then I installed Gamevance but could never get anything to pop. So I removed that (at least it said it was removed ).

Then I re-installed the Vomba and after using that computer, I noticed I had Vomba pops and Gamevance text links. The computer worked smoothly and my virus scans said everything was ok, so I left it as is.

It's been a great tool for my PPV research.

Has anyone been able to see the TV pop-ups yet? I installed GameVance and see the text links, but have not yet seen any pop-ups. I'm able to see Zango pop-ups with no problem.

It's weird, I had it installed and never got a popup, then i think i reinstalled it or installed it manually and was starting to see them. But now they are gone! I can't see any even on urls I know I am bidding on.

Cant even install gamevance on my laptop. Turns out Gamevance does not like 64-bit processors. A indicator that they are getting fewer new sign-ups?

I was finally able to see TV pop-ups. I'm not sure exactly what did it, though I did try deleting all cookies and re-installing (yet again). Perhaps they have some time-delay from when you first install the software to when the pop-ups start.

I also played some of their games, those are the lamest games ever.
