Default Landing Page Ideas

Here's another method to get ideas on how to design your landing pages.

Often I will go find landing pages that people are using for PPC and make a similar landing page for CPV. A lot of people know about this.

But here's an "obvious" place I hadn't thought of until recently and I've never seen anyone else mention this.

Go into Google Images and search on the offer name of the offer you are promoting. Try the images search by the offer name, and try it by the base url of the offer.

You might find images of the landing pages that other affiliates are using to promote that offer.

It's doesn't return landing pages 100% of the time, but I've found many offer landing pages that way. Then use these pages for inspiration and ideas, if you find several, you can combine elements of each to make your own unique landing page.

When I use someone else's landing page for inspiration, I might use 60% of what I see and then add other ideas to the page to make it look unique.

That's what I refer to as to "rip" their landing page -- not an identical copy, but similar in some of the elements. It could be even taking a landing page design from one niche and using it in a different niche.

Definitely great tip.

We do have to remember that some things we take for granted are new to others.

Adding to that tip...

Check out this reverse image search engine:
http://www.tineye.com

Pick an image and put it into tineye and see what pages it brings back.

What images do you put in there?

Hint: Think about what you're looking to accomplish and think about who would be using images and where they originally got those images.

Dude... You have now helped me immensely. This is a killer tip! I can't believe it's been posted for months and I never noticed it. Not to be off topic or anything... but why doesn't this forum have a thanks button? Would have made thanking particles for this post much easier
