Good job Yan, you are on the right track! you are getting conversions now so you know what it feels like :-) I am sure you learned a ton for the $100 you lost and now can turn that around.

are you tracking yann? i'm sure you are, but if not start. if you are now would be a good time to take a quick look at those loosers to see if you can turn any of them around before you move on to any more campaigns.

Sure Lucas. Actually, I'm pretty proud about my tracking as it is a version of the ppc-coach tracker which I customized to do basically everything I want to do.
Perhaps I'll share it + other tools I have built to help me build campaigns.

For the moment the main thing I'm doing is:
1. Taking a more than a $5 offer in popular niches.
2. Putting in 1000+ keywords\targets I gathered using some tools.
3. Hoping to see some keywords\targets which converts.

I'm really playing it simple.
I'm trying to figure out as fast as I can which are the profitable keywords\targets.

I think it is a faster and a better way of making a campaign profitable because even if you drop 1000 keywords/targets at once, with a bid of $0.01, and lets say you are running a $10 direct link offer, you only need 1 conversion to burn 1000 impressions to break even.

This is valuable because you are getting lots of test data without spending a dime. Yeah, the more keywords/targets you add, the more they drive more traffic, and some other variables you might spend more than you earn, but even with a $200 loss and $100 revenue - the valuable information I have gathered in less than 3 days is equal to the same data someone would gather in a month testing in small batches.

Also, to strengthen this issue of fast-broad campaign deployment, and this is something we do not always take in to the equation is the alternative cost. To say, lets say you target an avg. salary of $3000 a month from this game for start. Each day you aren't earning $100 - you basically lose $100 a day cause you could earn it selling hamburgers in mcdonalds. This is one of some financial aspects that aren't really talked about, but it can totaly change your attitude towards this job.
