Default My first Month in PPV

Ok, since joining PPVC I have learned a lot from the tutorials and mostly from the thousands of posts I read and took notes from. I'm currently in three PPV providers and about 6 affiliate houses. I took a technique mentioned here and at campaign blast method to keep launching. I put together a sweet excel sheet to track that I can copy paste my reports from the aff houses and ppv companies that auto calculates ROI for each campaign.

A second sheet I use for individual campaigns to track on the keyword level so I can cut out the crappy kw and urls that don't convert.

I have launched 44 ppv campaigns and as of today I still have 10 running at either break even or profitable. 2 of them are VERY profitable.

My tips: use a good keyword tool and a good url scraper to automate keyword collecting. I am sharing the one that I wrote for free at thinwebs.net/keyword. Login with "rideswitch" and "pw". I hope y'all get at much success with it as I have. It saves a ton of time and I have many, many features yet to add.

Tip 2: talk to your affiliate manager if your aff house doesn't accept traffic from PPV. I just found out my fav aff mgr is willing to go to bat for me if I get snagged for sending ppv traffic to their offers and has guaranteed I won't be dismissed for doing it if I were to get caught.

Tip 3: launch as many campaigns as possible and be very anal about tracking.

Tip 4: read every post at ppv coach b/c chances are someone else had the same question and it has already been answered.

Tip 5: zig when everyone else is zagging.

Tip 6: look at every internet outlet and ask "how can I use this for affiliate marketing".

I can be reached in the future on msn messenger at rideswitch A*T comcast d)o)t net if you guys ever want to say hello.

good luck peeps... Rideswitch

Hi Rideswitch,

Thanks for the great tool and for the helpful posts.

-Aaron
ps. Do you ride 'switch'? My young son is big into skateboarding and he does many things 'switch' now.

yea, I snowboard and find myself riding switch as much as I do goofy. You are welcome for the tool. If you have any ideas on features you would like to see added you can reach me at my email @comcast.net.

- Corey

ps, I just updated it lastnight. Now it can scrape urls from up to ten pages of search results AND has an option to filter out urls that don't contain your keyword phrase somewhere in the url.

You are welcome Jones... any ideas for features to add? I'm in the mood for more but I can't think of additions that wouldn't raise a red flag with google for automated queries. I think scraping ten pages is pushing it. It doesnt happen all at once, it alternates b/t msn and goog but it does happen pretty quickly.

what I really want is to scrape the guts out of a hundred pages on google.

also if ANYONE has any keyword lists to add to the keyword mash up tool I can add them in too. Send them to me in xls format so I can import them directly.

eventually i'm going to scrape products from amazon's api in real time to mash with a seed keyword or prefix/suffixs.

Awesome share Rideswitch. That URL scrapper is top notch. Maybe I'll hit you up on MSN to discuss more PPV action.

Would you mind sharing ROI, profit, or any numbers for your campaigns?
