Default June Results

Well June proved to be a little bit better than may - meaning I didn't LOSE money...

Spent: $408.00
Generated: $614.00
Profit: $206

A fair chunk of my ad spend was testing and I have it going pretty nicely right now so this month should be a bit better. I know coach talks of running higher paying offers and "download" type offers, but I can't seem to get them to work for me.

So what did everyone else do? I see people logged in here all the time, but it's been fairly quiet lately :-/

mediatraffic had *some* success, but trafficvance seems to convert better, plus the approve your stuff within 1-3 hours which is pretty awesome. I hate waiting (sometimes days) for mediatraffic.

Only thing is, trafficvance seem to be more particular about the offers you can run (no exit pops, etc.)

I don't have results into 5 figures but I did have a good June and certainly something I can build on into the next few months. I'm using Traffic Vance, AddOn and Media Traffic.

My figures:

Revenue: $5,780
Costs: $4,700
Profit: $1,080
ROI: 18.6%

My ROI is on the low side which is why I think there is lots of opportunity to improve my results this month. The main reasons for my lower ROI was a fair amount of data gathering (ie working out which keywords were winners and which ones to dump) and split testing different offers.

I have a couple of zip/email submits but most offers are in the $5+ category.

If the rest of July is like yesterday then its going to be good.

Here's to a great July!

Mine are the least impressive of all

Revenue: $146.80
Spend: $190.24
Profit: $(43.44)
ROI: -22.84%

This is better than May where I lost about $115, so I am learning some things. I think I have 2 campaigns that can continue into profitability.

didadel, how were you promoting the zips/emails? I tried a couple and they didn't do so well. Might try them again.

Looking forward to July and cutting a profit to pay for the membership here

Thanks for the info. I actually tried one exactly like that and lost a little money. I doubt the competition will be too fierce

There are only 50 of us here, hopefully willing to share ideas, and of those I suspect there are a good number that are already making a bunch of money doing other types of campaigns.

Ok, off to target.com . . .

I tried target.com offers as well - even split testing 2 different offers and couldn't make it work. As always its about balancing traffic with conversions. Target.com gets lots of traffic but I found the conversions weren't so great as other variations of that URL but then the other variations only a get a small amount of traffic.

If you could find a target related offer that paid more than $1.50 then maybe its worth it. People are bidding higher than the min for keywords like this so someone must be making some money on it!

I'm at the office now so I don't have the exact figures but I made about $1,000 profit on a $2,000 spend.
I can't scale any of the offers without having my ROI become shithouse. My best offers I'm spending 0.50 a day to make $10. I'm the only person bidding on the urls - but when I branch away from those urls I lose money.

Still, its all fun. Hope to make $2,000 next month.
