Default It's Working...

Since Oct. 1:

Spent: $102.33

Earned:
$257.94

Net: $155.61

First off, this is ONLY on Zango. The other networks are being total cum-monkeys! They're extremely slow. AdOnNetwork claims I'm self-targetting. Hm. That's odd. I bid on "otherdomainsthatdoesntsoundanythinglikemine.c om" and promote "mydomainthatlooks, isspelled, andisdifferentthanoth ers.com" and apparently that's self targetting? UNPROFESSIONAL! Loss of business on their part...

MediaTraffic. Don't have much to say about them. They approve everything I do - but, no traffic - ever. And, they're email support is like the pony express. I haven't even got a reply yet and it's been days.

TrafficVance - who?

So, just Zango right now. I'm excited to work with the other networks - but they piss me off.

What am I promoting? Just random crap I find at the networks. I like CPS offers with PPV. The offer rotation really helps, too.

I think another trick is being unique, and thinking outside of the box. Download all of the networks software, and just start browsing like you usually do. You'll start getting pop-ups and crap and be like "Hey, that's a good idea!" Then you'll see only one other person is doing it, you'll share in on the wealth, and bam - there you go!

And, don't promote merchants (on Zango) that don't have stuff above the fold. If all they see if some random stuff they can't make out - you're not going to get sales. But, if you were bidding on free credit report stuff, and they see in big pretty green letters in the popup - FREE CREDIT REPORT - NOW! They're much more likely to convert rather than seeing a bunch of small black text like this, or the just a portion of the domain name or something.

Anyways, this obviously works. I like this WAY more than PPC. Mainly because it's cheaper and I'll never get slapped, lol.

Thanks for the forum, Coach

Nice work mcmoney.

I've found little traffic with MT as well. I just started with Zango and downloaded the toolbar to do some research (on an old computer).

CPS eh? That gives me a few ideas.

Congrats and thanks for the tips

Hey, Congrats, that's great to hear! I've had nothing but problems with Media Traffic but started with them since I read somewhere on here that they were best traffic. No shit are they slow...it's taken weeks now to get set up there and anytime I change the target url's it's another few days wait.

media traffic won't get you heaps of traffic, but when you find the right offer the ROI can be very sweet. make sure you bid on the exact match though. bidding broad will get you heaps more clicks but conversions are shit.

maybe I should rephrase that and say that I haven't found an offer that converts well on their broad match.

Thanks Harry - I'll keep that in mind! Thanks to the others as well for the congrats.

At the end of Oct's first week, I'll post an update again - I'm totally obsessed with PPV. I feel like it's my "forte".

I wish PPC was this cheap and easy! Damn...

Thanks again guys, and Harry for the tip

Ryan

haha I was all mad thinking I sucked horribly at this and was so frustrated because I got no traffic with mediatraffic. I signed up for zango hopefully I will do better now.
