W3 Schools is a great resource for learning html, css, php and js. No video's so you have to read.

I understand the basic functions of html, php, etc. and have no problem editing code. I just can't produce a lander from scratch. I've searched the Internet and there a few tuts but outdated.
Can someone please make a simple video tut? It would be a tremendous help.

For most landing pages on CPV I just do a full graphic (unless of course you want dynamic things like date and target in your lander). My tool of choice for this is Fireworks. A lot of times my lander is just one big image.

I've been using full image landers but would like to learn how to build one for lead captures and implementing targets. I best tut I've been able to find is in the training section at WSM but it's very vague when it comes to coding :P

If you go to Fiverr, you will find someone to build nice landing pages for $5.00
It an inexpensive way to have a LP nicely done.

Use photoshop and utilize the slice tool a bunch so you can make buttons (different sections of your lander can have an href, rather then just making the whole thing clickable.

The slice tool, it's accessed in the same spot as the crop tool, put it to good use, it's amazing. Then once everything is all sliced up and looking good. Go to save for Web and Devices and then choose jpeg quality I usually just do medium. Then open that file in dreamweaver. THEN......dreamweaver the crap out of it and add little perks like geo lacation script or the countdown, ect ect.

Goodluck!

Jeremy
