Default Award Date Code

Here is the code for the award date found on the landing page. First, insert this code near the top of your page:
Code:
<?php $todaysdate = mktime(0,0,0,date("m"),date("d"),date("Y"));?>
<?php //echo "Expires ".date("l m/d/Y", $todaysdate); ?>
Then, wherever you want the date to appear, insert this code:
Code:
<?php echo date("m/d/Y", $todaysdate); ?>

here's another datescript - just put this where you need the date to show:

<script language="Javascript">
<!--
var dayName = new Array ("Sunday", "Monday", "Tuesday", "Wednesday", "Thursday", "Friday", "Saturday")
var monName = new Array ("January", "February", "March", "April", "May", "June", "July", "August", "September", "October", "November", "December")
var now = new Date
document.write(+ dayName[now.getDay()] + ", " + monName[now.getMonth()] + " "+now.getDate() +".")
//-->
</script>

Does your file have .php extension(instead of .html)?
