Default Month 2 Questions

I just got access to Month 2, and I see there hasn't been much discussion on Month 2 lately. Is this a method that still works?

It looks like this month has us bidding on the same url that is the affiliate page we pop up. Is this correct? I understand from reading the forum that this is called self-targeting. Is this something that the networks currently allow? I'm seeing some members say they can't do it, and some say they can. Should I just try it for all the networks, and see which ones disapprove me?

I'm just curious if things with this month have changed, as I am very interested in this method.

yes, test this method with all the networks, it can be lucrative. But don't bid on urls of offers where they have restricted keywords. Many dating offers you are not allowed to bid on the brand name of the offer so steer clear of these.

I've been told by someone that PPV networks actually hide the user-agent/ http referrer from your sites.

So instead of seeing the URL as the referrers, they will see VombaCash.com (MediaTraffic) as the referrer.

Can someone confirm this?

Would framing get around the whole self targeting issue? Is anyone using this method with any network other than TV?

I've used it several times on media traffic. Starting with 4-5 other offers then exchanging them to be self-targeting.
To make it a bit safer you can have one or two offers first in the pipe-line then 3-4 with the self-targeting url. it's easy to setup with the tracking tool.

just be careful as this is against the terms of service of many of the offers. If you get caught you're toast, so please make sure you spread the campaigns around and diversify like crazy.

And by being toast that means you will lose your media traffic account and lose your commissions. So do it at your own risk.
