Default bids on match.com at leadimpact low

aloha
just wondering what I should read into this.
the maximum bid for match.com is 0.0155
the minimum bid for match of 0.015 puts me in fourth place.
*This is the top site according to alexa for dating. why is there not more competition?
is it possibly because people on the largest dating site are not likely to switch to another site that's smaller?
or that they are happy with match.com for some other reason, and not likely to try another dating service?* I was going to use xenu to pull all the internal links for the site so i could bid on those for cheap, but if the main url is so cheap is there any reason i would get more traffic by bidding on the internal links?
thanks

I don't use leadimpact because there were issues regarding third-party advertising.
But anyway, you can try targeting their registration page:
Code:
http://www.match.com/registration/registration.aspx
You may also want to try testing internal links since the main url is cheap (traffic might be low quality?).

The bid for match.com on TV is 0.029

Try it.

Could be that leadimpact is limiting impressions because they're buying them all for themselves.

Exactly. That's the reason why I left leadimpact. The first three campaigns I set up were declined due to them having direct connections with the advertisers.
This raised a red flag and I immediately left. I'm glad I got all of my $200 back

Most of the networks run campaigns...

it would seem that legally it would be a conflict off interest...
but somehow they get away with it...

But don't be discouraged by it...
If they take a campaign away from you....
just find another one...
from the time you make it... to the time they take it away..
you can make bank......

trust me.. i have done it....

But the point is they can capitalize off your success. If they see you doing well with an offer they can prohibit other advertisers from running it. That happened to me with leadimpact and I left immediately. I haven't had any issues with TV.

Default stealing campaigns

Aloha
That sucks if they are going to steal your campaigns. after all you are the one who spent all the time and money to find a winner. (not easy to do I think)
thanks for the replies

Hey bro' D3S0, is there ANY way to *get around* LeadImpact screwing people over? Also, what do you mean when you say this, big bro':

there were issues regarding third-party advertising.

You know, you're not the first person who I have heard say that LI practically steals campaigns' from people!!! I chose them over MediaTraffic, but I can always get my money back if necessary, because I don't want to advertise for anybody who likes to screw over the people blessing them with money...

Hey bro', since I don't have the $1000 required for TrafficVance, do you think I should go with [i]MediaTraffic[/b] instead; or would you recommend another network, D3SO?

THANKS for the advice!

Us affiliates are third-party advertisers. I do believe that LI steals profits for themselves once they see trends. Either the advertiser themselves go straight to LI which restricts affiliates from promoting any of their offers or LI goes to the advertiser to get higher payouts and either restricts or limits the third party. That's my theory anyway. I don't think there's anyway around this. You just have to see what gets approved and denied. The more exclusive the offer the better. Also, LI will take about 20% of your money if you choose to close your acct. I was fortunate enough to get 100%.

Many cpv pros recommend LI as 2nd best, TV being 1st. I think you should try your luck with LI and see if it works for you. If you can push your budget, I highly recommend TV. The quality is great and none of my campaigns or keywords have ever been denied.

People forget that the ppv network was built for THEM to advertise and make money.

The fact that they even open their doors to us... is something that people should be glad.

I for one have made a ton of money....

I have made more money on LI than on TV... but that is just me.
