Getting started on my list

Hey guys...Just looking for some tips and or guidance here..Im about to start on my new PPV Campaign..

My Goal..I want to get a list started so that i can begin some true email marketing .As presented in the first post in the "List Building" thread..Here is my down fall..Should i l Literally go in Blind folded and start running traffic in intervals while tracking my results? I wish i could hire some one here to help me get the ball rolling..This would be helpful i think..

Any suggestions p[lease will be great..

what do you mean by "should I go in blindfolded?" [?]

I would wager that that's NEVER a good idea. Track from the start, focus on quality over quantity, share genuinely cool stuff about [niche] with them, and you'll be fine.

If you are just trying to build a opt in list that is niche targeted, I would actually just target the cheapest URLs within your niche with traffic. You are just trying to generate a targeted list while paying as little as possible per email. You can worry about all quality later when you are pushing offers to them via your list. However... You definitely need to be setting up tracking from day one. This is the only way to know how your ads are working out. Even when simply harvesting a list, you will need to know if a target costs a lot of money but yields no opt ins.

You need a plan first to build a list. Tracking needs to be done from the start. Get a good autoresponder and create an enticing squeeze page. Once people sign up, concentrate on providing good quality information and be honest. That is crucial. This way you build up loyalty and a good reputation. Good luck with it.

Will this boat be getting a nice comfortable seat, port side for me to sit or should I hang onto my fold up chair ?
