Default Case Study Perhaps?

I know this is a BIG request as it will take a fair amount of time and Coach is swamped with work, but I would LOVE to see some sort of case study for month 3.

I get the general idea, but I'm stumbling over some of the specifics:

1. What should your landing page look like?
2. How to set up a RON campaign.
3. What "freebies" should you offer? / How do you tie in leads that aren't email submits in order to make money?
4. What should a good email look like?
5. How many emails should you send out in total?

I admit Coach's intro turned me on, but I think a little more detail would be helpful to me and some others.

Email lists seem a little more long term and stable so I would REALLY like to dive into it, but I don't feel I've wrapped my head around all of the concepts completely.

Anyone else with me?

ok, I'm prepared to share what I've done so far. Its one lander and one niche, but I figure I will learn heaps from the feedback here.

So here is my landing page;

http://www.free-ecourse.net/Golf/

If you enter your email address you should go to a thankyou page, then get the download link for the book, which offers another 2 free bonuses if they give me 4 friends email addresses.

I haven't finished building the messages list in aweber yet, it will take me a few hours to finish it off. But if you guys want to use this as a test case I would be very happy.

I'll pump this email submit with keywords and urls on all 5 contextual networks. I'll even fire up keyword elite and a few other keyword tools I have and I'll probably dump up to 10,000 golf, golf player, golf course and golf brandname keywords and urls into it.

I should be ready for the official launch of this sucker in a day or so, but sign up now and tell me what you think of my method.

This is one of about 120 niche ebooks I have bought the rights to give away. I found these on the Warrior Special offers forum, but digital point has some too, plus just do a google search for "private label rights" or "ebook resale rights" and you'll see tons of them.

once I have the list built, I'll drip feed them heaps of emails, with an email recommending a product once very month or so.

clickbank products, amazon, ebay stuff all related to the niche ie golf

Here's something you can do, go to clickbank...(shudder)...find a niche you want to promote. Build your list based on that niche. Fire off emails with ....ebooks...(shudder)...from that niche...

Your "landing page" is nothing more then the opt in form to aweber.

If you're looking for good examples, just do a search for any popular clickbank product and copy their opt-in form. They've tested and tweaked it already.

Hey Harry,

I just came across this thread and this is exactly what I'm getting going right now, building lists with free product giveaways and a tell a friend script.

Question:are you using aweber as your autoresponder, if so, how did you get around them with your tell-a-friend script? I'm with aweber and am trying to use viral friend generator with some issues.

How is the list building going, how many opt ins per day?

this is a project that has been put on the backburner. I have a list of things to do and this is about number 5 on the list. aweber are hopeless with the tell a friend script, so I'm using responsebot, which will allow it.

I've built about 95% of my website, and done about 80% of the email drips. I have about 1 every week or so for about 52 weeks already done.

I find building these very boring and it numbs my brain, so I do it in small batches.

Having said that, once up and running I intend to throw some $$$$ at it to see how it works. Best of all I'll be pimping my own PLR products, so unless I scrub myself I shouldn't have any issues with lead quality or shaving.
