Default Spreading Traffic

So I started running some campaigns on LI but have noticed that whenever the campaign starts running it just blows through my budget within 30 minutes.

I have already messed with day scheduling and looked everywhere else but I still haven't found an option for me to spread the traffic out throughout the day.

I was wondering if this is just how traffic runs on LI or is there something I am missing?

sounds like your targets are too broad, you might want to get more specific on what you are targeting. If you target a huge site like amazon.com you will burn through cash for sure.

I am only targeting one website currently but they are definitely not a huge site like amazon. I guess they still receive a bit of traffic though so I will keep this in mind.

Any suggestions on what I can do to help with this problem besides trying to target smaller sites?

You can try not bidding in the top position. Bid around #3 and see how much traffic comes through. Otherwise, there is no other way to spread traffic evenly throughout a day.

You can set your budget to per hour instead of per day.

Also, are you targeting keywords or URLs?

I'm targeting by URL. Going to test out per hour budget and will report back with results.
