Smile World's Worst Affiliate

Hello,

I am the World's Worst Affiliate. It's true. I checked.

I'm the kind of guy who is scared of failure, scared of success, scared of losing money, in a word just plain scared.

I dip my toe into everything, looking for that "sure thing" so that I don't have to take any risks. I know that I can do it because everything I've tried has had conversions but I never take it anywhere because I'm too scared to get out of the hobby phase and into the business phase.

I've been watching shows like American Pickers, and Storage Wars on tv and one thing I noticed was that these guys take risks on things they buy, hoping to make money - sometimes BIG risks.

On Storage Wars, these guys will plunk down thousands of dollars on a storage locker hoping to hit the jackpot. Most of the time they fail but once in awhile, they score. And it's the big scores that carry them over for when they fail. Here they are willing to spend thousands, and I am worried about losing $20. I gotta stop that.

So yeah, everything about life I've learned from Reality TV. I know, sad right?

Anyhow, here am on CPVden hoping to change my ways.

As Master Yoda says, "Do or do not. There is no try."

Jeez Yoda, you're worse than my mom.

I know what you mean. I'm still scared to take risks as well. The biggest risk I've taken is investing $1000 with trafficvance. I'm still waiting to see how that goes.
Hopefully, we'll be able to help you here.

Way to take the courage to post! It made me laugh though because I have been watching Storage Wars and think I am addicted . . . . and anyone who quotes Yoda is good in my book

note to watch storage wars.

the roi in cpv campaigns can be staggering sometimes. you don't need a lot of money to learn to become profitable with this stuff. play smart and ask questions.

Excellent intro.

It's so true. The biggest difference between a super duper affiliate and the worst one is the super duper one will spend $5,000 to collect data on what works. Then he'll make that back 10 fold in future campaigns. Others would never do that.

I'm always 'skered.'

But a few months ago a wise internet marketing guru said it very well when he likened internet marketing to standing in a long line at a Vegas 'all you can eat' buffet.

If you stay in line long enough, eventually you will get to the feast.

But if you are impatient and get out too early, you will not realize the rewards that were there waiting for you.

So don't seek a chauffeur to wealth -- you be the driver and you'll get there.

Since you are here it would seem you are trying CPV, don't give up after a few trys. It took Thomas Edison 999 time to figure out how to make a light bulb and you aren't trying to invent something new here. It will happen just be patient, you aren't losing money you are buying data and experience. It's tuition to the school of hard knocks.

Stick with it!
