Smile Hi Guys

Just joined ...not from ppc coach though. I'm still looking around the site and watching the videos.

Very excited to be here and looking forward to figuring this ppv thing out.

Question could you answer ? posted earlier in tracking

Very confused...I'm new to this and after searching the forum (http://ppvcoach.com/members-only/for...hlight=hosting) for answers, still need clarification on hosting to use the tracker. I have only used direct links on ppc before with no redirects and have not needed hosting before so don't have a hosting account or own a server.

1) Will the basic nickel 9.95 mo. hosting package at Server Provider work fine for only this if I'm not hosting anything else on it?

2) If not, what do you recommend for hosting tracker only ?

You can direct to merchant with ppv, but using tracker hides your keywords from the networks, which is helpful. (amongst other benefits) Reporting isn't finished up with all the networks yet, but Coach said he was working on an update I think. Keyword cloaking and offer rotation is sweet though, I think it's worth it to have tracker going.

I use serverprovider on Coach's recommendation and I think they are a good host. It would probably be fine to start out with that package. Make sure you talk to Sami at serverprovider. His ICQ # is 311848143 and the cool thing is he's sometimes available at odd times. He's helped me at 3 am before.

I'd pick a neutral named domain for your tracking domain. Should also probably register it privately so your info isn't on whois.

Welcome aboard,
Chad

Excellent post, you don't need to use the tracker, but you should if you want to rotate offers and hide keywords from the traffic sources. The cost data does work too but it's finicky right now, (I am constantly tinkering with that).
