Default G'day from Australia

Hi Fellow CPV'ers,

I'm Dave from Adelaide, South Australia. Home of the Festival of Arts & the world renown Fringe Festival (still on now), and close to the Barossa Valley home of our famous wines.

I've been in the online business game since 1996. Had great success with Adsense Arbitrage then Domain Parking Arbitrage. But Google Adwords won't allow that anymore.

Working on some content sites (entertainment, electronics, health/fitness), and online ad campaigns. The latter I have used PPV sources like TrafficVance, Media Traffic & AdOnNetwork. I have spent over $20k last 2 years testing PPV on and off. Old direct linking campaigns hard to profit with insane bidding competition on some good networks.

But I'm looking at new ways to make PPV pop under/up traffic work ....as I hear others can. So I'm focussing more on landing pages/ads which are more relevant and targetted to my target urls. This seems to work from what I hear so far.

That's all for now. See you guys on the forum.

Cheers,

Dave

Default Hey!

Hey Dave, good to see another aussie here! I'm just starting out with CPV, currently residing in Cairns (sweating like a sumo wrestler in a sauna).

I'm launching a campaign on Direct CPV right now. It's a new traffic source for me and a bit of a learning curve, and I'm just getting my head around using Prosper 202.

I'll keep you posted.

Good luck with the campaign. Prosper202 is easy for direct linking with PPV.

I'm promoting a ringtone offer that can return landing pages by artist and song title. So I'm using the Advanced Landing Page option with Prosper202. My landing page has a drop down list for each artist with their top titles. So there are multiple offers (actually just different urls for the same offer). However, I have to make an affiliate offer for each title's url. So I created a subdomain and installed Prosper202 on it just for that offer.

TrafficVance seems good but the bidding sucks.

Let me know how DirectCPV goes. I'm opening an account with LeadImpact today ...heard a few good reviews about them.

Anyway just watch your stats regularly ....dont want things to get out of hand. lol
