Default first campaign launched

Lauched my fitst campaign on zango, which has been approved and is active, but my ad is yet to be shown.

To start out I bidded on some keywords and domains that are less common but still receive a few hundres hits a day, thought I'd try to save by budget with some slow steady traffic with less competition.

My bid is showing as rank 1 with 0.002c bids, and it says my competition is bidding the same, if I hit 'make my bid the highest' nothing happens, so does that mean theres no competition on the keywords?

So, does it take time for traffic to start? There def should be people using theses sites and keywords, ahhh, just a though, yes there's people viewing these keywords but do they have the ad software installed?

So I guess I need to go more competitive keywords/url's to increase my chances of people with the ad software stopping by, although there will be much more competition.

I'll see what happens.

Still no impressions on zango, im not sure whats wrong, i have even added competitve keywords, in a competitive niche.

I've been busy with my day job, unfortunately, but have taken tomorrow off so i can work on my pcc and cpv stuff, and will launch a few campaigns on all the networks i've signed up for, and hopefully work out what im doing wrong.

Zango approved everything, but once I moved the campaign over to MT and Adon I ran into issues.. Damn SOUND ARGH...

Just spend the last 4 hours, creating graphic image ads sized to fit the pop up/under window. And got it all running through the tracker, took time to get my head around how I was going to do with with the tracker but it all worked out now.

Won't take as long next time, and it was all a learning experience, so all good.

Hopefully I make some damn cash from this campaign now, woooo

haha, yeah, nah im not giving up, just getting started...

Hardly getting any impressions though, even though i've got a campaign running in a very competitive niche, and bidding as high as the competition on the url's and keywords i'm bidding on.

Finding it hard to stick to the month 1 rules though, right now im running US offers and more than 5 keywords/urls, but I plan to run some international stuff once I find a niche with offers I can rotate i'm struggling to find enough international offers that are also similar so far.

I been a bit quiet lately, just like the forum is in general.

I've scrapped a few campaigns, and started a few new ones. We'll I haven't scrapped anything as it hardly seems worthwhile to scrap when the tiny amount of traffic im getting is costing me almost nothing anyway.

I'm not sure how any one is getting any traffic at all with 3 domains and 2 keywords, even when I pump in a hundred URL's the traffic I get is pretty minimal.

But anyway, I've managed to get a campaign profitable sort of, out of about 3$ spend i've pulled in 21.50, wooo. I can't complain though I've spent hundreds testing unprofitable ppc campaigns so far, and only made around 60-80$ back.

So I'm trying to scale the crap out of this campaign to see how it goes, there is plenty of offers to rotate through, but I'm getting the most traffic (maybe 30-50 displays a day) from zango which won't let me rotate. So Im hoping with more keywords and URL's i'll get some traffic coming with addon and media traffic (I'm yet to sign up with Traffic Vance).

So, keyworks, should I use keywords or is it better to stick to URL's, im laser targeting my URL's but my keyword list is more flashlight targeted or something.

Is 430 keywords too much? I'll prob have about 200-250 or so URL's when I finish culling and targeting my list.

I'll prob have this finished before I get a reply so I'll just run them all and post what happens.

Cheers,
patrolorp
