I'd love a tool where I could enter in a set of demographics and get a list of possible targets. I guess I'm envisaging a mix of Quantcast, Alexa and AdPlanner but with extra capabilities, like being able to narrow down to a certain geographic area (country level would be fine), being more accurate (for example, I just entered the following criteria into Quantast: male, 25-45 years with a category pick of 'personals' and mozilla.net came up, when I looked into the specific demographics for mozilla, it is more strongly visited by females??), the ability to exclude certain sites/categories and set filters not just for volume but also for things like site affinity.

Maybe this is all a pipe dream but hey, you asked!

You dream big! lol. I don't know if this is possible if no database exists to pull this from. I use quantcast planner too, maybe there is something we can hook into there? Lucas is the programmer here so maybe he can chime in to the feasibility of such a tool.

really the best way to do this is with an old infected laptop. Many people have tried to create this tool (one major one) and looks very difficult to get one that actually works and fits the needs of cpv marketers.

Well this one may already exist but I don't know if it does but a tool that would give you the time of day that a website receives most of it traffic would be handy for bidding on URL's

Jill's tool might be possible if we can build our own databases.

Then just lookup in one and the other, compare the results and spit out a list.

Yeah, the best way to do it is just install yourself. You can get a pretty cheap and crappy laptop off eBay if you don't have an extra laying around. It'll pay for itself quick enough

There must be something available because Affexpert has a tool where you can enter in a site and it brings back data from all 3 (Quantcast, Adplanner and Alexa) for that particular site. But maybe that's already pulling what you can easily get by running separate single searches. I guess there needs to be some kind of api that you can pull and then be able to manipulate into displaying the data in a different way.

Default A tool to automate / schedule campaign activate and off

I think a tool that can automate /schedule / activate the campaign to run on a specific time of the day or specific day of the week on DCPV/MediaTraffic or any networks that does not have this feature.

Does my request above makes sense?
