I have done it in the past, but I am not a big fan anymore. Mainly because I don't like to do anything remotely against the Terms of Service of any advertiser or network.

While cooking stuffing can be quite lucrative, you also live on the edge of getting banned or kicked off an offer/network. I guess you aren't a true affiliate marketer until one of those things has happened to you, lol.

You end up spending more time thinking about how you are not going to get caught rather than how you can market and make money. At some point it becomes too much (at least it did for me).

With that said, I may lay out a specific technique in the future that I used for you guys. I certainly am not the moral police, but I also don't recommend trying this (at least for newbies)

Cookie stuffing is basically when you open a web page and drop a cookie on the user's computer which credits you with an affiliate sale in the future. This is considered a black hat method and can get you into trouble. This is used with pay per sale type merchants such as Amazon (although their cookies are only 24 hours).

It's getting credit for commissions you did not earn.

It's fraud and you'll lose all the commissions, (legit and non-legit), AND get booted from the network when you get caught.

Notice I said WHEN, because you will get caught. It just takes one guy to report you or the network to have the "guy who knows what he's doing" check your traffic referrals.
