Angry Unfortunately, I Forsee A LOT More Competition in PPV Starting TOMORROW! =(

a lot of u wud already be aware, but there's some big name marketers about to release a new product called MassPPVTraffic http://www.massppvtraffic.com. Launches Tues 27th Oct.

These guys really know how to create a real hypey FRENZY! I've been watching them ever since I started IM in May. Their last product broke ClickBank highest gravity records!

Disclaimer: This is NOT me trying to promote their product. In fact, I already knew about this product weeks ago, but still chose to join CPVCoach, as I already got a taste for Will's style from PPC-Coach, and chose to go the less "hypey Guru" route.

I think/hope I made the right decision!

So anyway, judging from wat I've learned in my one day here, it's very easy for bidding wars to get out of hand! Looks like this will be happening within a week or 2, as I'm honestly expecting them to sell 1,000+ copies!

what's ur take on all this, Coach? How can we best protect ourselves from the TONNES of new-comers that will be competing on PPV Traffic?

In the past year, I've seen 3 big launches of PPV products. This makes number 4.

Sometimes network bids elevate for a short while after a product launch about PPV, but it seems like things settle back down in a couple weeks.

In my opinion, a lot of people like to read, but when it comes to the "doing" that's a different story.

For $77, I might even order this product.

I can assure you, if you work hard at CPV and believe you can do it, you will succeed.

ya, i bought it. will most prob get a refund! was mostly abt setting up landing pages specifically for building a list. that's about it. n he shows how to use media traffic, that's all. 10 vids, prob a total of 4-5 hours or less. for $77...i dunno, not worth it to me. i bought the back-end products too.

no mention of HOW to track, but u get a bonus month with tracker202 and stats202. other cool bonuses. the URL scraper "looks" cool/funky, not exactly sure how it compares with CPVCoach's, as i'm not that experienced. nice option is that u can select how many urls to scrape from alexa, google, etc.

overall, not happy, but i wanna keep the scraper =)

good to hear ur news that things settle again after a few weeks!

Nightwolf,

Thanks for the info about the product. Their sales page looked similar to what I've seen before, and I decided not to order. From what you said, I'm glad I didn't order.

When it comes to PPV/CPV, it seems that a majority of people start with MediaTraffic. So with them promoting MediaTraffic as the network of choice, I'm glad to see that because it is easy to spy on MT popups on my infected computer.

The URL scraper sounds interesting for getting targets. I've got that problem solved, so it wouldn't help me to get an additional scraper.

The best thing to do to get good at CPV is to study as much as you can (this forum has all you need), go do some promotions (with your tracking in place), and then come back to this forum with questions. Then rinse and repeat.

Take care.

I wouldn't worry too much about this, it just looks like a somewhat more pimped out ebook. Anyone who has even the most basic experience knows that getting traffic for $0.01 is not enough by itself - you can easily lose tons of money buying $0.01 traffic. I think most of the people buying this are just going to quickly lose their budget and give up.

I do like the approach of using PPV to build a mailing list with Aweber though. This is something I've had on my back burner for a long time. I like how it effectively launders your traffic, so you can promote any offer without them knowing the traffic source is PPV. I'm working on integrating Aweber stats so I can track which keywords mailing list signups came from, and then I'm finally going to give this a go.
