Default Types Of Offers

What kind of offers should we be looking to run? Email submits like the ppc guide suggested? Also, what are common bid amounts for these offers? I would assume no more than 2 cents for testing, am I in the ballpark?

You can run email submits, but this tends to work best with offers that payout a bit more then that. You can do pay per sale offers very easily and lead generation type offers as well. There really is no limit.

I like to bid to the top spots personally to test, which could be 2 cents or more, but it's up to you.

Cool, Also, what does the user see when your "keyword" is displayed? Your URL? The keyword? I know with ppc, your ad copy needs to be well written to get a good CTR, what determines this on ppv?

Just trying to understand the whole process from front to back...

With ppv, they see the landing page pop up or pop under the main browser window. So you can send them directly the to merchant without any landing page of your own.

Think of it as if the person already clicked your ad, (in reference to the ppc mindset...)

How do you know if it is a pop over, or a pop under? I would think the pop overs would be more successful. Does each network treat this differently, or can you control it?

Each network is different, but most allow for pop unders only. They still work though.

I have been looking through a few networks and it seems the majority of their mid range pay per lead offers are either mortgage, car insurance, mobile, or health insurance. I was under the impression that all of these were very saturated and somewhat exhausted.

Should we still be trying these offers? Am I missing something and there are other niches with decent payouts? Maybe i'm not looking at the right networks...

With ppc, it was much easier finding offers (for me) because I pretty much stuck with email submits and just had to run offers related to my topics.

Choosing an offer / niche seems to be my biggest stumbling block right now...

and also.. what sort of payout do you recommend for us to start your first campaigns on? I know for email submit the payout is generally around $1 to $1.80.

Will they be profitable? Or do you suggest filling out a lead offer that pays >$5?

Thats the whole beauty of PPV - you can go after these competitive niches that pay well because your costs are lower as you don't have to battle it out with the hordes on Adwords. So instead of paying $10 to be in first place on Google, you can pay $0.02 to have your offer pop up on someone's pc. Yes, the conversion rate is dramatically lower but as long your earnings per view is more than 0.02 then its all good.

In terms of payouts, I've had success with offers over about $3.50. I've tried a few email/zip submits but haven't been able to make them work. They can work but I haven't got the right combination yet. Haven't tried any polls yet - that could be the key, don't know yet.

Don't shy away from the competition or higher paying offers. I had a finance offer running last year that paid out $20 per lead which was sweet. The best part is you only need a few leads a day and you've hit $100.

But as I mentioned elsewhere stay away (at least in the beginning) from very generic keywords like health insurance, car insurance, debt because they can rip through your budget very quickly leaving you feeling bruised and battered and without really testing the possible converting keywords. With PPV non converting keywords that get a lot of traffic seem to suck the air out of your budget and its not until you get rid of them that the jewels can shine.

Anyway, just my 0.02 worth...

Jill

Hey Jill... thanks for the advise... i have just gone through most of the videos and done most part of the beginning work. But i have no idea how does the tracking system work as the last video is not loading yet. Coach is looking into this and hopefully he can get it up soon.

I have a few network that are pending approval now. Anyway to get them approved faster?
