Default Traffic Vance & no traffic

I have started about 5 campaigns on traffic vance and for the first day I spend my $20 worth, but then the next day I dont get any clicks or impressions or whatever they are called. I have checked to make sure I still have top bid, any other suggestions?

Mary

Hey Mary,

If this happened to me, here's what I'd check.

First, I'd make sure I didn't already reach my budget. If you have a $20 budget for a campaign, that's a total budget (not a daily one). I've had campaigns stop, even though it said active, then when I click further into the campaign, I find it to be "completed" and not running. The simple fix is to up the budget amount and then click to save it.

Second, if not a budget issue, I'd check to see if I'm being outbid on the Keywords/URLs, which you mentioned that you already did. I've found that for some URLs, Number 1 and 2 positions can get a lot of traffic, 3rd position gets some, and depending on the Keyword/URL, and 4th position might get very little. Any lower, and you might just see a couple clicks daily (depending on the volume of traffic for your Keyword/URL).

Third, if budget is ok and I'm sitting in good position (#1-3), then see if the campaign has been rejected.

Forth, try launching some other campaigns to see if they become active.

I have found sometimes that I'll get a lot of impressions one day, and then not many the next. I think it's due to the advertising campaigns related to the URLs I'm targetting, and sometimes it's just due to the market.

If things don't seem to be working in your account after doing these things above, you could send them an email describing what is happening.

Hope this helps.

-Aaron

or with their three levels of pausing them. when unpausing, make sure all three levels are active.

Yep very clunky interface. I don't know who designs these things...
