Default Tracking w/ LeadImpact or other networks that have keyword pass thru

Hey everyone,

I want to get my feet wet and learn the basics while making a little coin without having to get involved with tracking and making landing pages for now, so to do that I want to know if I check the box of "Keyword Pass Through"

and my affiliate link is http://peerfly.com/click.php?img=0&i...f=29423&subid=

Will I see what keywords/URLs bring in clicks and sales in my affiliate reports?

thanks!

nice, just waiting for approval, loaded in a good 1500 or so URLs.

The Google scraper works quite well, thanks for that.

It's not working, I have 3 Subid's 1 for the offer, another for the traffic network, and the last one for the URL/Keyword. It's not picking up the URLs in Peerfly. I guess I'll place a tracking pixel for now.

Anyone have ideas?

I could be wrong on this, but seems like lead impact appends the url with something like &keyword=keyword or something like that, when you check the box for keyword passthrough.

I have all my stuff set up with them that I don't think about it any more, as I just cut and paste and change my urls to fit the offer I'm promoting.

Someone here, set me straight on this, if you know what lead impact exactly adds to the end of the url.

My input here is that you might want to see how your url is coming through to your cpa network as the actual keyword itself might not be the only thing appended to your affiliate url after your string of subid= .

Also, I use tracking pixels lately too.

I don't worry about trafficvance copying my campaigns.

But I do have some hesitation about leadimpact copying them when they have the tracking pixel info. Seen it happen with a few friends, and it happens when you get big into cpv.

So learn everything you can now and use a tracking pixel if you like -- and when you start hitting it heavy, look at ways of protecting your winning campaigns.
