Default Tracking Pay Per Call

I'm trying to think of a way to track a pay per call campaign I'm going to run on LI. I use CPVLab.

What I had in mind is really not great but it might give me a rough idea of what works & what doesn't.

The idea is to make a landing page that has a "Click here for our toll free number" type of thing. That way I could at least see if people click through to the page the number is on & (sort of) see what keywords are working with a CTR to go on.

At least that way, hypothetically, over time, if 20 URL's get 500 views, but only 5 URL's get 100 click throughs, the over all CTR of the UR's that are getting clicked is 20%, 20 people see the number & 5 calls are generated, I'm still doing very well with an average payout of $3+ a call. Not bad for a $7.50 investment at $0.015 a view. Then at least I could chop out $6 worth of non-converters.

I also thought of running a mirror campaign that has no click though at all just to see if it performs better without the click-able link that will start & stop on opposite days from the click-able campaign.

I could also use multiple numbers with multiple landers but that's getting into setup hell.

I know this is really ignorant but I have run this campaign with banners so far & the only thing I have to go on is that I'm making a profit.

I have no idea what sites the views that are converting are coming from. The thing is the banners are running on a network that totally conceptual. You pick the category & go. That's it. This network must run really tight concept related sites with the ads because it's working.

Ultimately, as long as I can run a profit like a have with the banners I'll be happy. It just sucks that there will inevitability be non converting things I can't cut out of the cost of running this down with as well as usual if it even works with CPV.

Any Ideas?

i'm just about to get set up running my first pay per call campaign shortly and from what i hear ring pools are the solution you're looking for. not sure if they're even available on all networks, but they allow you to bind a sub-id's.

let me look into it a bit more and i'll get back to you. some of those other ideas might help a bit, but they're ultimately hacks. let's see if we can get set up correctly.

Thanks & yes those are hack ideas but when you have to try to invent ways you do what you can

I do know about ring pools & the network I like for pay per call has them. I just thought, oh god, i'd need alot of numbers with ppv to track each ulr.

I'm not sure what mean about "bind subids" but ill try ti learn more.

I would love to hear more when you start running stuff.

I personally have not tried it, but I think it could be a hidden gem of a money maker if tested and done right. Try it out!

Hello guys,

Just wanted to let all pay per call publishers on this forum know that
I provide callers from the USA for your pay per call campaigns that will meet your campaign requirements and will result in a payout conversion.

I can also advise on which networks to work with and the ones that offer the BEST payouts.

These are calls from real people within the USA that will lead to a call conversion and a payout. So if you order 20 converting calls then you will get 20 call conversions. Our rate per calls vary, but we are very competitive and you are sure to make a profit on your campaigns. We offer callers for the following type of campaigns: home security, insurance, and education.

Contact me on Skype (username:darryldelong) or via email at info@darryldelong.com to inquire about our rates. I am a reliable lead source and I do have references.
