Default Testing & Cash Flow

I keep hearing about testing and blowing through money to find winning keywords and combinations.

Is PPV only for people with deep pockets? I have a credit card with a decent limit but I certainly don't have money to burn here. I'm all for testing but I need to see profits.

Basically, is this any different than testing using ppc?

i suppose you have to start small on a few keywords in order not to burn a hole in your pocket.. if its not working for that few super targeted keyword or url... then scrape the campaigns and move on.. i suppose that's how you can save yourself..

Yes you're going to go through some money to find profitable campaigns. Be sure to set the daily limit to the minimum and tracking is going to be your friend.

Ok, thanks guys.

I just didn't want to go into this half-assed. Gonna get the tracker set-up and give it a go.

set up a max daily bugdet (per campaign). $10-20 should give you enough data to work from.

You can take it as slow or fast as you want. I just don't want people forgetting to set their budgets because if you don't you could blow through a lot of money.
