Default A Solution For Matching Questions..

I'm going to get on ICQ with my AM at MediaTraffic and ask her to send me any documentation for their matching algos(besides the stuff in xcel and on the website) that she has. I'll ask coach to make it a sticky in the MT folder. Can we all do the same for the other 4 networks?

I'll take MT.

I just went back through my emails and found this explanation about matching in MT from my AM:

Allow me to explain to you how the precision match works. Media Traffic is a software based advertising network with the ability to target both keywords and URLs.

The way our advertising platform works is simple. It basically monitors what our users search for and the sites they visit and then searches for matching keywords in your campaign. If there is a match, your ad is displayed on the users screen.

The precision match is the function that allows you to specify as to when your keywords should trigger you ad.

Complete URL is the most general. It looks for a match in both the search engines and URLs. This means that if you set you targets to complete URL, it automatically includes all the other precision match options we have in the system, such as Search Engine, Query String Only and URL with Query. In return, you do not need to have multiple destinations with different precision matches to cover all your options.

Not sure if this is what you're after?
