Default Question about EPC

Hi guys,

I have a doubt in my mind concerning EPC's.

Let's say my EPC is 0.20, and that my CPC is 0.10, does it mean that each time someone click on my ad or see my ad I double my money?

Tell me if I'm true or totally wrong.

Thanks!

I would agree with PapaBear's answer above.

However, when doing CPV a metric that helps me is to figure out my current ROI and earnings per view (EPV). Then I adjust my bids to meet a desired ROI and I make sure my bids are not more than my earnings per view.

Crazy thing is sometimes the traffic converts better based on my bid rank.

Some traffic converts better at rank #1 and sometimes traffic converts better at a rank lower than first place. So this has to be watched and bids adjusted -- rather than just bidding on roi and epv alone.

It's important to understand that the EPCs and CRs you are seeing on the network statistics are just that, network wide statistics. Lately at PeerFly we've noticed that our stats on our top offers keep dropping even though we have some pubs doing really really well with them. At the same time, we have quite a few pubs doing horrible on them (bad targeting it looks like).

The success of your campaign will be determined by you. I suggest figuring out your own break even point and then working towards that EPC
