Default Prosper 202 javascript Question

For the new Option 2: Landing Page: Outbound Javascript Redirect Code where exactly is this supposed to be placed ?

Is this supposed to be placed in my landing page code html or a separate page that I link to, like with the PHP outbound script ??

Can you explain to me where you are seeing Option 2: Landing Page: Outbound Javascript Redirect Code?

I can help you, but am not sure exactly where you are. Is this for setting up the code for your landing page? If so, there is a JS that will be placed at the bottom of page to track incoming clicks. Then for outbound links, you would use a separate php page and copy the redirect code into that page.

Please let me know if this is what you are asking.

I am seeing this in the get LP code in setup...#6.

In the old version of prosper you would see the javascript code to be placed on your landing page for incoming visitors and php code for your outgoing links. Now they offer a second option that has additional javascript code for outgoing links.

If you setup a campaign in the new update of prosper 202 and go to #6 you will see option #2 ..when you are getting your code.

Hi Charles,

I have not upgraded my installation of Prosper yet, so I have not seen that option. But from what you explain, it seems like the link to your offer can now be a javascript link instead of a link to a php page with a redirect. So it seems that the javascript would go where where you would normally place your outbound link.

Here is the instructions with regard to this thread. Is it correct then that I place the inbound code right before </body> and then this javascript code right below it? So I don't have to do anything else other than those 2 steps?

I'm trying to place a tracking pixel on the redirect page, or somehow assign a small sales amount into prosper202 when the person actually clicks on my link so I can better determine which keywords to drop or bid higher on. Supposedly you can't do it with the php redirect, and if the javascrip redirect goes right to the affiliate site, how do I place my tracking pixel to do this?
