Default Looking for a program or script to...

I'm actually looking for 2 different programs/scripts.

Maybe somebody knows of a website, software program or a programmer that can help me.

Program number 1: I need a program that will go to all my different CPA networks and login and gather my daily subid stats into a csv. Once the program gets the csv file with my stats and conversions, I need it to standardize the csv file to a certain format: date, subid, conversions -- so that I can readily import the file into the Coach's tracker. Lately, I find myself spending a lot of time each day going to all the different CPA networks just to gather my sales data. I consider this a good problem to have , but would greatly appreciate saving some time during this process.

=====

Program number 2: I need a program that check my offers to make sure there are no exit pop ups. What I envision is feeding the program a collection of urls and having the program check each URL and then determine if there is an exit pop -- possibly by looking at the html text and also by actually closing the url to determine if there is a pop.

For my landing page campaigns, I don't have any concerns. However, I have many campaigns that are direct to merchant. I try to keep a close eye on expired offers and changed merchant landing pages, but if an offer expires and the CPA network redirects to an offer that has an exit pop and I don't catch it quickly, I could be violating the terms with my PPV network.

I currently use a monitoring site that tells me if the landing page has changed, although it seems like I get a lot of false positives. I'd like to have more control over the monitoring and want my own program to check several times throughout the day.

=====

I will gladly pay money to solve these problems.

If anyone can help, please post here or PM me.

Thanks

-Aaron

statsremote will work for the first problem. I think coach has tried but have failed (so far) to try to come up with something for the 2nd. I've used C# and IE to come up with a test that seems to work but I never had the time to fully develop it. Can you tell me what's the monitoring site that you are using?

Earthcraft,

Thanks for your answer.

However, StatsRemote is not the solution I seek (or maybe I am not using the program correctly). I have StatsRemote and I use it to monitor my expenses and revenues through all my networks. It is very convenient for that purpose.

However, what I need is a way to get the CPA network subid reports from each of my CPA networks. I'd like to have a program that goes to each CPA network, downloads my daily subid report and saves everything to a csv file (that way, I don't have to do it by hand). I'd like to click a button to have the program compile my subid reports so that they are prepped and ready to import into Coach's tracker.

Regarding your question, I think it was Charles here that posted the website that will monitor if your offers change. You can find that website here:

http://offermonitor.com/

If anyone here can help me find an answer, please let me know.

The new version of the tracker that i'm putting through the paces does grab subids automatically via cron job every night.

I am also finishing the cost data mapping form for all networks so that will help you too.

Aaron,

From what you've said here it looks like you're doing your best to not run any offers that contain exit pops. I was under the impression that most people here find a single offer without exit pops to start campaigns with, then as soon as the traffic starts they begin rotating in other offers that do have pops.

It seems like so many offers do have exit pops it would be tough to stick to ones that don't... sounds like you've been able to do so? Have you been warned by your networks at all for the pops in the past?

Sluggy, Aaron answers a lot of these questions in his "Thanks Coach..." thread in the Success Stories Forum section.

Yes, I would say a lot of us here so exactly what you're saying. But once you start making bank, obviously your risking more by doing this. The easy solution is to create a landing page that acts as a bridge page to the offer. This is of course much easier than PPC cause there are no QS issues...

I agree with what has been said here and would like to clarify my point.

I have some offers that do well with my own landing page and some that do well by going direct to merchant.

For those productive campaigns I have that go direct to merchant, I'm testing to see if they do better with my own landing page to their offer. Sometimes they do.

I have had a campaign rejected after a few weeks, because the network caught an exit pop. I had checked the merchant's page when I originally set up the campaign, and it didn't have an exit pop. The merchant changed the page and I was caught unaware. This only happened once. Fortunately, they didn't terminate my account.

My goal is to keep from getting caught unaware again and to be able to keep an eye on things without having to check all the offer pages by hand.

I run offermonitor and then check the links that it says have 'changed', but that still takes time. If a software program could do this for me, I can concentrate on other things.

Thanks for all the helpful replies from everyone.

I got some help and now have a solution

Also, offermonitor doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Looks like they have a mysql database error on the site and it's been this way for several days.
