Default Let?s Start Our Own ?PPV? Network!

Ok, I have something of interest to share that may be beneficial to all the members here.

Please let me know your thoughts.

A year ago, I voluntarily left my lucrative corporate career of 20 years as a software engineer to start my own full-time online marketing business.

Although the initial goal of my online business was to spend most of my time strictly promoting & running marketing campaigns (while focusing less on my hardcore software skills), it turns out the complete opposite happened.

As I started implementing various online marketing techniques (affiliate marketing, SEO, PPC, PPV, landing pages, auto-responders, etc.) the analyst in me began to see the same ?pattern? over and over again which is: The lack of an enterprise platform built exclusively for online marketers that helps build and automate long-term, reusable assets.

As far as I can tell, there is nothing similar to a cohesive, easy-to-use ?Microsoft Office Suite? or a ?Software Development Platform? for the individual online marketer.

More specifically, there is nothing publicly available to help the online marketer create one of the greatest online assets they can have: their own reusable private traffic network!

To me, it seems that the whole ?traditional? approach in securing long-term, online traffic is upside-down. Here?s what I mean:

In order to get the attention of the online consumer (either thru PPC, PPV, etc.) here are some of what we have to go through:

* Guess what keywords the consumer might be using to buy things

* Guess the websites the consumer might be visiting to buy things

* Compete for the consumer?s attention with other online marketers on the same traffic network

* Pay for limited, one-time usage of traffic

* Deal with constantly fluctuating bid prices and network policy changes beyond our control

Wouldn?t it be better if:

* We knew the exact keywords consumers are using to buy and that data is automatically sent to us in real-time?

* We know exactly which URLs each consumer visits to buy things?

* We never had to compete with other online marketers for the same traffic?

* The same traffic source became reusable over and over again!

* Had a more direct influence over our online marketing efforts on the network?

So, after giving it some thought, I decided that the best way to ?flip? the entire approach to leveraging traffic would be to create a platform that allowed me to create & harness my own network.

So far the past several months, I?ve been working on what comes natural and easy to me:

I created a custom-built, scalable platform that enables anyone to build a private contextual traffic network.

But unlike PPV (or AdSense for that matter), it does not rely on pop-ups or code snippets to be placed on websites. Instead, this specific software integrates with the end-user?s computer and is able to add/modify the incoming HTML packet streams before it renders on the user?s web browser.

In other words, from the end-user?s point of view, everything works exactly as before. No annoying pop-ups, pop-unders, toolbars, etc. After it?s installed, the software simply (and silently) modifies the pre-rendered HTML of the target URL, adds additional relevant content/links, and utilizes the exact CSS style used in the target URL.

The net effect is that, again from the end-user?s point of view, the additional content/links will look, act, and feel like any other content of that particular website.

On top of that, it can transmit the keywords the end-user typed into the search engines back to the network traffic owner for the purposes of creating and resending other relevant offers. In essence, it?s the perfect feedback mechanism making traditional campaign research obsolete. No more guessing which exact keywords/URLs people are using to shop!

Of course, like other forms of legitimate Adware, the end-user would have to agree to install this small piece of software in return for a free product/service. But this is easy to accomplish with the right offer from an experienced online marketer. The hard part, on the other hand, is already done (the core software platform to make everything possible).

The possibilities and potential of this particular software platform is unlimited. Here are some extreme examples:

Want to use the software to easily implement the PPVCoach Month 2 technique for all Clickbank offers? No problem! The software can already detect pre-existing Clickbank links on the web (or any other type affiliate link for that matter) and rewrite it to point to your own affiliate link. Or better yet, safely promote your competitor?s Clickbank product review sites to your user-base knowing that, no matter what, all clicks lead to your affiliate link.

Want to use the Month 3 techniques to build a list fast? Have the software seamlessly blend your opt-in form to multiple high-traffic, 3rd party web pages.

Want to combine Month 1, 2, & 3 techniques and attach a URL Rotator to a static link you created at the browser level? No problem.

I?ve only been exposed to only a few PPVCoach techniques but I?m sure this software can be used in conjunction with any other technique.

As you can imagine, there?s a lot technical wizardry involved to make all this seamlessly work. Although the core software code and functionality is complete, the inevitable growth, enhancement, and maintenance that go into the software are continuous. In other words, the devotion that the software requires is still going to be a full-time effort on my behalf.

In order for the software to continue evolving, I simply cannot focus on both the daily marketing campaign management and the software development aspects. There?s only 24 hours in a day

After giving it some though, and because I?m extremely passionate about this project and taking it to its full potential, I am open to the idea of making this software available to a handful of experienced PPV marketers (no more than 20 people or so since I would also be personally providing technical support to everyone).

The members involved would become the mastermind that will guide the direction of this online traffic platform. Each member using software will be utilizing their own exclusive private traffic network. So needless to day, members are NEVER in competition with each other for the same traffic!

And because it?s a private traffic source, the concept of anyone paying ?per click? or ?per view? will simply vanish once your network is in place.

In addition, similar to a traditional brick and mortar business, my responsibility would be to become the ?IT Department? and to keep providing innovative software-based solutions to help with the marketing goals & challenges of the mastermind.

Having been a software arena for the past 20 years, I have all the experience needed to comfortably handle the technical aspects of this project moving forward.

There are more details I?d like to talk about but, for the time being, I will hold off and ask the following question:

Would anyone be interested in starting their own private traffic network if I were to make this platform available?

Sounds exactly like the adware FF extension that Brad Callen launched a few weeks back. But sure, why not, I'm interested. And if you get Coach involved, you have a great distribution network in the form of his wotogepa network...

Thanks for the feedback & PMs, everyone! Based on the responses so far, we have the perfect combination of experience, resources and interest to quickly scale this thing out.

Yes, it?s somewhat similar in concept to what Brad Callen did; however what I?ve created goes above and beyond to what he did in scope, capabilities and technical implementation.

Here are some key differences with my version:
* It is not limited just the Google website. Any website on the internet can be modified.

* It will run on every major browser (not just Firefox).

* It?s not built to be a single-purpose ?product?, but as an Online Marketing platform to quickly accommodate future growth and new functionality as needed (this is a slight, but very important distinction).

* Data/templates are initially created on the server and then cached on the client computer. This is extremely important for the purposes of scalability and performance.

* Updates/new features are automatically & silently ?pushed? to the entire install-base without requiring end-user intervention.

* And most importantly, it?s built for the full benefit & monetization for all the members involved. Including individual custom work for the members.

I?m making a video that shows the whole process in action. Once it?s done, I?ll post the link here. I will also respond to everyone?s PM.

More to come!

I'm in if space is still available.

I also PM'd a question I'm not sure you'd want to answer here (of course, you may not want to answer it privately either, LOL!).

I'm interested. One downside with Brad Callen's PPC web spy (if that's the one that you're talking about) is that the main customer base is other affiliate marketers. The key with a new system will be creating downloads that appeal to a wide cross section of internet users. Not only so that you get regular internet users and not net savvy users but also there is scope to market a wider range of products and you'll get more people opting in.
