Default leadimpact charges me 52 cents a view on minum bid keywords!

leadimpact charges me for 319% more traffic then I got for one day one campaign! This was a brand new campaign that just started running.

this happened at the same time that a much much smaller campaign was getting more traffic then what i was charged for. Traffic was going to the same domain and stats were both calculated using cpvlab.

here is there response
Hi Scott,

Unfortunately discrepancies are a common issue in the online advertisement world. There are a few things that could cause the differences in reporting:

1. The advertiserís site was unavailable (down) at the time of request.
2. The user immediately cancels out the window before the site loads
3. The user is on a slow internet connection and the advertiserís site times out
4. Repeat visits by the same user may not count as unique hits
5. Differences in the counting methodology
6. Other common or uncommon errors related to the internet

Thanks,
LeadImpact

and mine

hmm so what do I do?
this is not off by some small number as I mentioned. it is 319% this also means that if I have minimum bid of 1.5 cents I will pay instead for each view 4.7 cents. how am I supposed to ignore that? How can I profit with that type price increase without any benefit of more traffic or better quality traffic or any other benefit of paying higher price?
it's not #1 because the other campaign was running same time.
and it's off by way too much to be any of the other reasons.
I feel like I am getting screwed.

thanks

anybody got any advice?
thanks

Default more info on this problem

I did more research on this and sent this message to lead impact.

I am using cpv lab. and I looked at the stats in more detail. it's not the few high traffic terms. I have 7 terms with more than 3 views and they are showing the correct number of views. It is the fact that for the keywords with 3 views or less you list 422 keywords with at least one view.
my stats only show 12. if you need help with the math those keywords are off by 3500%. so my cost per view on those keywords at the minimum bid is 52 cents. and it's not a problem with the landing page or anything else on my end because the high traffic keyword terms show the correct stats.
thanks

I'm getting overcharged between 10-30% give or take, but I'm not sure exactly how much they're giving me duplicate clicks, etc.

I haven't seen that high of a discrepancy, but I always see at least 10% and it can definitely be frustrating. I see discrepancies on other sources as well, but LI can get fairly out of hand with 50%+.

I've heard of some people being credited back lately though, for overclick charges. I'm not sure why that happened all of a sudden, but they did credit back some money to a few affiliates that I talked to.

As a relatively new LI advertiser (opened account last week), my initial stats are showing a 10-25% discrepancy (in their favor) on any given day.

Note: I'm using Prosper for tracking.

What I really don't understand, is why LI (and other ad networks) don't just raise their prices. Rather than quoting $0.020 CPV, just charge me $0.022 and give me accurate stats.
