Default Landing Page URL

I have a question -

I noticed that a lot of people are recommending that people develop their own landing page vs. direct linking. My question on the landing page is what url should i use? Should I buy a new domain name for each campaign that I'm pushing or should I just have one general domain name?

If it's a general domain, any tips on that?

thanks for the help.

we have a bunch of landing pages in the resources section. your domainss are going to vary depending on the niche or vertical of the offer. if you're doing freebies get something like mywebfreebies.com.

I agree with the above reply. IF your going with diet - go with something like freedietsecretblahblahblah.com or dating like freedatingsecretblahblahblah.com

that way you can launch a bunch of campaigns on one domain.

I generally buy one domain per broad niche - so if I'm running a ton of email submit type offers I'll put them all on some kind of generic giveaways domain.

I feel domain is not so important for ppv.No body looks at domain if you can make a good landing page.Take a extra domain for every niche,if you can afford. If you are on a tight budget go for .info from 1and1 or take a short meaning less domain make sub folders for every niche.
ex: ghds.in/weightloss

Have you ever done a split test on this? From my marketing experiences the domain can make a pretty big difference in how much people trust your ads or links... I agree that it's important to not waste extra money on unneeded domains, but I think that it is pretty important to have a niche specific domain... I mean we try to make our landing pages look like the pages we pop over to gain credibility... Why loose all of that with a bad looking link or a spammy looking domain?
