Default How many times do our ads display?

I'm running everything on Traffic Vance right now and have my ads set to display once every 24 hours for each campaign. I was wondering what happens if I bid on the main url and then also a root of that url, and the user visits both in less than 24 hours? Will my ad for that campaign pop twice (once per url), or will it pop only the for the first url? So for instance if the user goes to target.com and then target.com/giftcards, and I bid on both in the same campaign, what will happen? If it's the case that I only get one pop, but want to laser target the second root url, then I should probably just go ahead and bid on that one correct? I guess I should do this if it's the case that the user will get to the second url by going through the main url first?

Thanks!

Test each variation and see what happens.

Most of my traffic (and conversions) comes from targets based off the root domain.

I also target inner pages -- although frequently I do not get much traffic from those inner pages. Sometimes I do get nice converting targets this way.

The main thing is to find targets that convert for you and that have a good ROI.

So test everything and keep the ones that work.

Will you get double visitors because of the overlap of the targets? Maybe. It's a part of testing and you may find something good as a result.

I believe that the cap is set on a campaign level or a creative level is it not?

So if you had a frequency cap setup the same user would not see your ad on both pages if they are in the same creative.

For Trafficvance: I just checked with my account manager and confirmed that this is indeed true. All frequency caps are set at the creative level.

ALSO: If you change the frequency cap at all, the cap resets and essentially rebuilds the IP list from scratch. So for example if you change from 24 hours to 2 weeks, the server will 'forget' who has seen the ad, and start over.
