Default Help Needed - Landing Page to Offer

From what I understand it's more productive to use an LP than direct linking.

Fine I can do LP's. However, the problem I'm having is if I create an LP that's 750x550 for Media Traffic how do I get the click on the LP to go to a fullsize Offer page?

I'm not a coder so I'm lost.

Richard gave me link to some Java and I can see that it will probably work if I knew where to put it.

Even if I direct link in Media Traffic the fullsize offer ad doesn't show up correctly in the 750 x 550 window.

Is there a How-to I can follow?

I want to do ppv but I want to do it right and I'm having trouble with this reduced size pop-up page.

Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom,

Here's some coding sites that may have what you're looking for.

It hadn't even ocurred to me that the destination page (i.e. offer page) has to fit in the smaller window size too. From what I've learned so far about ppv is that it's better to make your own LP's because they convert better, and that the point of these LP's is that they have to fit the window size used by whatever company you are using. So I assume that they already coded their windows to show up the exact size. What I've been doing is make a banner ad about the size of the pop-up window and put it in a left-aligned table so it will hopefully show up decently. Shouldn't I? The frustrating part of ppv so far is not being able to preview your ads or landing pages, unless you risk your computer and install whatever freebie is offered. So now you are telling me I also need to make sure the final destination page fits within the reduced window size, even if I use a Landing Page of my own??

Fondly,
Johanna

Johanna

Hopefully we can get someone who is more technically competent than I to clear this up for us.

Let's hope.

I have never worried about fitting the exact size, ever.

The scrollbars still work.

Don't overcomplicate things.
