Default Dynamic code

hey guys,

If we create a landing page that pop overs at for example domain.com. And we want to create the landing page copy like this dynamically:

"dear domain.com visitor". How do we pull this off? anyone has the script for this?

I'm not sure how you'd code that.

You could do it manually.

<?php
if (isset($_GET['domain']))
{
$domain = $_GET['domain']);
}
?>

Then just type <?php echo $domain ?> wherever you want it

You obviously need to have the keyword passed to your landing page such as landingpage.com?domain=keyworddomain.com

yah, for example in trafficvance if your targets are all domains you'd pass the target using the {KeyWord} token. so for example: mylander.com/cpv.php?keyword={KeyWord}

then on your lander just echo it like:

Welcome <?=$_REQUEST["keyword"];?> Visitor!

i do this all the time

Oh yours is shorter than mine hehe

Im brainwaving a way to make the domain look more "image like" - do you know of any way to do this? Like a dynamic text to "image text" script?

there are all kinds of ways to do it with php sure. google "text to image php" you can also do all sorts of cool stuff these days with css, jquery and javascript. i'd start here maybe: http://www.kremalicious.com/2008/04/...s-text-shadow/

I love adding dynamic text, as well as geotargeting.

I have a geotargeting script around here somewhere - let me go find that too.
