Default Do You Ditch by Campaign or Target?

Hey guys,

I've read for 3 hours straight here... my mind is blowing a little from the info

Sorry if this was answered, but:

Do You remove campaigns that don't work or just URL's?

I've tried before with MT. I add like 30 URL's, like for diet offers. diet.com gives me the most traffic, up to $10 per day spend, and all others are like$0.64 per day spending.

So what You do in this case?

If several offers don't work. Remove the main spender Target for each offers if spent enough, and leave the small ones that barely get $3 spend a day? Or ditch the whole campaign alltogether including the small targets? Is there a point waiting for 30 low traffic URL's to give me traffic? Then I'd need to wait a year until I test each URL target for each of the offers?

I know You need to have strict rules in order to succeed, so I'd just like to find out what I should do with my stuff.

Thanx a lot,
Drev

Set a target roi for your urls and when your url goes over your target spend without making your target url, then that url goes in the trash or you rotate new offers at it with the same rules reapplied.

What if you had 1 unique visitor per day who converted 100% of the time on a 30 dollar submit? What if it was once a week and you spend 5 cents a day to make 30 bucks a week? Smaller / less targetted traffic isn't necessarily bad. You just have to test and see what converts.

Hi :

Had pondered the same thing as Drev. From what I understand it's testing offers and url's simultaniously.

a. You find a converting offer but very little traffic -- test new urls
b. You get the traffic but sh... ROI -- test new offers

Did I get that right?

Which stills leaves the question for me why the need to start in small batches. Why not take 4-5 related offers - rotate them and throw a couple of hundreds url's at them --and then sort them out. The tracker should make that fairly easy.

I am sure I'm missing something. Thanks in advance for everybodys help

take care

I think the answer to your question is: budget. If you have the money to throw out hundreds of dollars to test, then go for it! Otherwise, take it slow and test in smaller batches.
