Default DirectCPV have failed big time!

Hello CPV Den This is my first post and start of my CPV venture thanks to this great website.

I want to tell you guys my experience of CPV because it is positive but been screwed up by the incompetent people over at DirectCPV.

OK so I had my website for a long time and was making small bux of it using some greyhat methods it was decent income the site is in the insurance vertical etc etc. I came across this forum and read around and decided to try CPV for the first time.

I had a pretty big gut feeling it would be a success because of the way my landing page has been created its simple and not so intrusive. OK so I decide to use DirectCPV and deposit my $100 and set up just a simple category campaign, after waiting for 2 days which I would complain is slow the campaign finally activates and I started getting traffic.

Like I predicted I was getting conversions left right and center and it was all going well this method of advertising was very cheap so only spending around $10 made over 5x that ROI.

Then DirectCPV had to go and screw up everything for me with their stupid as hell update! Traffic stopped and after waiting 1 day to log back in after the update I find that my campaign has been deleted.

After numerous calls to their crappy phone support who sound as if they are half asleep and don't give a shit they just keep on saying its the update you have make your campaigns again and give us a few days to sort everything out.

OK, no biggie I make the campaign again and wait until it is active which after a day it is and I used the exact same settings as before and now I am getting no traffic or nothing. I can't be sure if its the bid's have changed because now it does not even tell you the bid position or any useful information!

Seriously this is the worst experience I have been given by any company ever, I mean its just like a guessing game with them they keep giving the same shit answers that don't explain what exactly is going on and the estimated time they can resolve it.

I really badly am in two minds as to change to a different company what do you guys think I should do please help me out!

I have some money locked up in DCPV. Any idea whether they're done with their updates..

Some people swear by DCPV while others say it is no good. Well there are better ones like Lead Impact and Traffic Vance from what is discussed here and there so you should try them out.

You are not alone, I just tried to enter a new campaign with a landing page. Made a stupid mistake and exited directCPV, well when I came back it was marked "New" and I can't delete or make any changes to it, DCPV keep telling me to call my account manager, god only who he is or what his phone number may be, if he has one.

So here I sit with money locked up and not daring to put another campaign into this trash system.

To all you guys starting out, AVOID directCPV, they offer no support and little traffic. Bit the bullet, spend $200 and join a decent PPV Network.

In all honest, I do not understand the arrogant attitude of PPV networks I have dealt with. I have only used a few traffic networks but each one has no help, no support, no phone number, and don't seem to care that they treat us like sh*t.

The best service I have gotten is from one that repeatedly tells me to read a document written by their lawyer...

Go figure.....

I started in CPV with DirectCPV and also had a horrible experience...

I was new, so I assumed most of the problems were my own fault, but after talking with their customer service multiple times, implementing the changes they said to - I still didn't get any traffic.

Not 1 flipping view.

So I asked for a refund and after a week + of dragging their feet, they did send back my money.

I'm now using Lead Impact (for about 3 days now), and though I'm not getting alot of traffic (probably because I targeted such specific URLs) I'm WAY HAPPIER with them.

Honestly.. I despise DirectCPV, very disappointed in their traffic, their billing and customer service, I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot poll..

From my experience, traffic vance has the best traffic and support. a lot of affiliates stay away from them because you need to fun an account with $1k. the deal is you don't need to spend $1k, you can spend $20 and get a full refund if you close your account. if you can muster up the ability to fund an account, i've found their traffic is much better. also, leadimpact increased the cost of their min bid from $.015 to $.035. that is a huge increase. tv is still $.011 min bid.

Where do you get that kind of info? On Leadimpact, Different categories make for different bid prices, but I see my bids go for .015 all the time.

Goodluck.
