Default Debt Offers

Hey guys - have you done well in the past with debt offers? I used to crush them on PPC and I'd like to transfer that over to CPV.

I've got a $12 payout, short form offer that I'd like to run. What are your experiences with debt offers on CPV?

Do you bid on obvious targets or take it a step further and get demographics from the advertiser and bid on targets that way?

Do you think it'd be worthwhile to build an email list in this niche? What would you mail them after the initial debt offer?

most of my cpv campaigns involve an email loop of some sort and debt is no exception. i rarely run brute force campaigns. bidding high on the big keywords and fighting my way uphill through bidding wars just isn't my style (not to say that it doesn't work). i try push things like credit reports and various other financial offers (debt) to people who aren't necessarily searching to solve financial problems, but just need a little convincing that they infact could or do have a financial problem (most people). this approach gives me some breathing room to test different strategies on them as the traffic is cheaper and less competitive. thats the first step. we'll tackle some financial offers here soon

if i were you, i'd start thinking about fan clubs. there is plenty of room there to push financial offers and get some great conversions. the fan club method is all about "grooming" your audience from first point of contact with a well laid out plan.

As long as you don't put the offer in the pop up, it should work, but you're going to pay through the nose as a lot of guys are trying debt.

with the fan club method you wont be directly bidding on debt targets though!
