Question CPA offer restriction question

Hi there my first post here. I just found this wonderful forum, it is shame that I didn't found it earlier, a lot of great info here . ok, so I am confused about CPA offers limitations... I want to promote an offer on PPV which only allow banner/display traffic. If I build landing page for that offer and promote it on PPV is it will be considered as banner/display traffic to be in compliance with the CPA company? Thanks in advance.

You can do that, but you run the risk of losing your commissions. The best way is to simply ask the CPA network. Some will have restrictions, others will say it is ok.

There are some solid networks here that will guide you on your way. Click on the netConnect button above and sign up to these

Denmaster hit it right on the nail.

Its best to ask. That way you don't risk losing money on some profitable campaign because you were trying to get away with something or misinformed.

Advertisers sometimes do not want CPV traffic because sometimes people think that all CPV traffic is spyware. So they do not want to be associated with that.

so its always best to ask your Afiiliate Manager.... if they say NO.. then just look for an offer that lets you run it on CPV.

and you are right.... its a great forum.. and it gets better everyday....

Obviously everyone else is right that you should just stay in close contact with your CPA network so that you are fully aware of what you can and cannot promote. As far as my experience with this, CPV is NOT considered banner/display traffic and running CPV on those offers may end up resulting in your commissions being charged back by the advertiser. Essentially ask first and you'll always be safe.
