Default Contextual Always Allowed?

Can we assume that advertisers allow contextual if they don't say otherwise?

There are a lot that say under traffic sources, "web, search, email" which doesn't specifically mention this.

most of my am's tell me if it doesn't say no contextual then you're ok.

generally they won't give you a contextual creative unless its ok.

what network is that?

Primary, my main guy, does not offer contextual-specific creative.

all the main networks promoted in ppc -coach are ok with contextual.

I emailed all my am's - had to sign some addendums, but they are now suggesting offers for me to run.

If in doubt though, always ask first...

azoogle doesn't want mediaTraffic(they asked me what network i wanted to run), but haven't run into many other hurdles with any other network. azoogle can be pretty elitist about every little thing, so run it by them for sure. they have some traffic blacklist, i forget what he called it. i personally haven't asked AZ about any other contextual traffic sources.

I don't do any business with Azoogle anymore.

They're good for finding deals, but here's a hint, when you find something there, fill in a lead form yourself and see who contacts you, THEN contact them to set up a private deal...

They are asshats. They called when I was out and autodeclined my application because I wasn't home. Of course, it's probably easier to get on the phone to George Bush than Azoogle. Blech!

My AM called me after I stopped doing business with them. It was the first time she called and I was doing about $25k per month at the time.
