Default Cash Management

Hey all,

I've been building steadily for the past week. And I'm starting to "get it". So I've actually found some decent traffic and started weeding out the losing KWs.

But one of the things I notice (if you build steadily) is that you start gathering a lot of little KWs ... separately they're going to take a while to reach the "ROI chopping block" but all together they add up to significant ad spend.

I'm thinking of adding a time value; for example, after 3 or 4 days I bump the ROI up so if I don't get a conversion by the time spend reaches 20-30% of payout ... chop. Out it goes.

Thoughts?

Smaller batches for testing can counter this...

Thanks Will,

I've started to gravitate towards smaller batches already. I'm keeping campaigns between 10 and 20 KWs and maybe I'll split them further to target 5 to 10.

grassroots,

Both. So far I prefer urls ... there's a massive advantage with them because you're sorta attaching your "pitch" to a well known and trusted brand.

For example, you put "Enter to Win a PS3" on sony.com ... that adds a lot of legitimacy since Sony makes the PS3

But I'm getting into regular KWs more. They're trickier, but less saturated. It just comes down to good targeting.
