Default Can CPV Lab do this...?

Here's the process I want to track...

  1. CPV pop a squeeze page to sign up for a free service distributed via Aweber.
  2. The free service periodically gives the subscribers stuff which contains ads. The ads within this service are not in the emails themselves and can't be changed to include varying subIDs. They also are through multiple affiliate programs and networks. However, the accounts used for these will only be earning revenue through this service.
  3. After signing up they are also sent to a related offer which can pass subids in the normal way.
  4. Subs are also marketed to in the traditional manner as members of the Aweber list, and these emails would have trackable ads as per the usual way.

Essentially, the subs which come through one set of CPV squeeze pages are going to be exposed to many ads for varying offers through different affiliate programs and networks, some of which can't have subids, some which can. I want it to track the total revenue, including that which lacks subids, as well as the granular revenue where the subids are.

The information I'd want see would have an overall EPV which includes the no-subID-revenue divided over the campaign, as well as details for the trackable revenue based on the cpv targets, squeeze page ID, especially including tracing multiple sources of conversions from a single subscription origination.

If it can't handle the no-subID revenue in this way, I guess it's not so hard to just add that part with a spreadsheet and my brain. But I would need to have all the other data tracked granularly.

I have asked Rob to read this thread and comment. Hopefully he will stop in and do so or tell me the answer for you.

Kevin,

I spoke with Rob and he asked that you send him an email at support@cpvlab.com and he would be happy to look into it. I think it is a bit confusing reading it and you can clarify the request to him.

not being sarcastic at all, but how is your php/mysql? i run all sorts of custom queries against the lab db and it gets me past a lot of hurdles. once you dig into the db it's pretty smart and well thought out, making running custom reports a snap.

for example this part..."especially including tracing multiple sources of conversions from a single subscription origination"

each subid (keyword) is unique as are offerid's. you could create a unique token and append it to each keyword then run a report for the token and all the offers in your campaign to get that data. that's off the top of my head though

rob may have some simpler solutions - i tend to complicate things.

I should have clarified, I'm not a cpvlab customer, yet. But I'll email Rob in a bit to let him consider my odd, tangled request.

Regarding php/sql coding - I could do it, but it would take me at least a week of solid work to figure out how, heheh.
