Default Avg number of keywords/URLS per campaign?

Hey,

What's the average number of keywords/URLs you guys that are getting good traffic to your campaigns starting out with?

sometimes just 1, sometimes 500. take a punt and spend some money trying a few things.

Thanks. I've been using 1 to a couple dozen (even using the ones TV recommends) but the traffic has been very tiny. I'll try ramping up the number of URLs/keywords.

I am going crazy trying to get a decent amount of traffic on these networks. MediaTraffic in particular I invested a lot of effort in to start out, and unless you're bidding on myspace.com or something you're very lucky to get 1000 impressions/day.

Hah. I have about a dozen campaigns on MT and have spent about $1.50.

use keyword elite and dump the buying keywords in. traffic will come so fast you won't know what the fuck happened.

ps. MT won't let you bid on myspace.. or atleast wouldn't let me bid.. don't think I didn't try it..lol

Will that work for many types of offer?

I can see that working for something very very common like ringtones, but then again, those are pretty much already spoken for, right?

I want to stick with MT as I now appreciate how fast they approve campaigns compared with the other guys.

even things like swimming pool repairs, you can generate heaps of long tail keywords for something like that.
