Default Any Success With Using PPV at the Local City Level (Geo-Targeting)?

Hi,

Has anyone successfully used PPV to only target niche-specific URLs that are relevant to a particular city in the U.S. (i.e. people researching/looking for cosmetic surgeons in Atlanta, GA)?

I'm about to launch & test geo-targeting using PPV and was wondering if anyone has already gone down that road.

On average, is there enough PPV traffic when geo-targeting/site-sniping at the city level? Or is PPV geared towards broader national-level campaigns?

The sole purpose of my campaigns will be to only generate leads (not direct sales or CPA offers) and then "flip" them to offline local businesses for top $$$.

Any thoughts/recommendations/hints/warnings to consider?

I've never tried it, but the point of ppv is to get a flood of traffic and then figure out which offer best suits it. This could work if the area is large enough I suppose.

I'd be interested in your results.

Thanks for your input Coach!

My back-end and local distribution channels are already in place. So if this technique works out well, it can be another effective and lucrative way to leverage PPV traffic.

Well, there's only one way to find out!

I will be testing over the next couple of months and will report back if campaigns turn out successful.
