Default [Blackhat] Using This To Game Clickbank & Sales Products

I'm not sure if you guys still remember, this video was posted by Harry over at ppc-coach.

It will give you a better idea on how to use this source effectively.

Now if you watch the video again, you'll see that they were actually using Zango targeting the order page's url. What happened was, the popup appeared on the order page and the original cookie was overridden by the affiliate cookie. Something like cookie stuffing.

This is pretty damn evil & powerful and I think it will definitely piss off the merchants if they are paying serious money for advertisements.

This also explain why most networks don't allow self-targeting urls.

nasty ass stuff isn't it. It stretches my ethics doing this, I love making a $$ but I don't want to rip anyone else off.

Yep, that is a very nasty way to make money, there's a HUGE debate about this in the Adult Webmaster community.

This is BlackHat stuff and to be clear, I'm not recommending it.

But this is a strategy we can use against the competitors, say if I'm promoting SinglesNet.com, I want the popup to appear on True.com's sign up page.

At the end of the day, you really want to build a good relationship with the merchants and not piss them off.

As for ClickBank, I'm not too sure but I don't think they really care. Does Zango allow us to target own urls in the first place?

That is the question, do you want to piss off the merchant who is paying you?

I'd say no, but to each his own. You can target a site and then pop up their competitor.

I don't like this method. As BH traffic is crap.
