Default Fishy Activities at DirectCPV

I dunno whats changed over at directcpv but whatever it was/is isnt good.

i had a campaign with a daily budget of $75. Never came close to that number, usually spending $10-$25. Average cpv was around .04 bc my one good url was a bid of about 17 cents.

well all of a sudden they change the bidding process, and that 17 cent url becomes 26 cents. not only that, the last 5 days i maxed my budget, 75 bucks a day. and to top it all off, only two conversions.

for the last 4 weeks, after a 4 week layoff of having the same good return i have now, i have been running this campaign on autopilot for a return of 75%-150%.....amazing results. Then this new bidding thing comes and then this happens. i dont think they got that many new customers, or people downloading the adware, to increase the traffic as much as it has gone up the last week.

so im crying foul and will no longer use directcpv. it was a good run, but on to bigger and better things.

They probably added in some new partners for traffic. They think it's great because they expand their traffic sources, but it stinks for guys that had profitable campaigns.

I'd ask them what the f is up.

competitors would explain the bids, but not the increased traffic. There's a bazillion reasons for increased unexpected traffic without conversions. Maybe your URL was on the radio or something :P

I'm with coach, ask them what's happening.

Thing which happened they got a lot new affiliates for their publishing platform - Loudmo and they drove bad traffic (in your case)

You know that you can use their token {{afsid}} to see from what affiliate traffic is coming from. If you don't like the traffic from particular affiliate you can ask them to turn it off. I was told they can do it manually for you. Kind of the same idea you can do yourself in Adon.

Yep, that and a bunch of other tokens are listed here on their forum section.

Good call.

Actually that approval time is much faster than I have heard from many PPV networks
