It's funny.

I used to hate them when they first came out. I still think they need to work on their bidding and how you can change everything but it's fine.

Now, they are making me money. I am going to take a few things that have been working and add them to another network or two. Maybe someday I'll be on TV

well for me too its a waste of my $100 really. I started with about 5-6 offes and still even after more than 1k PPV Impresions and wasting around $45 still there has been not even a single conversion.
May Be I better beat these offers at facebook, rather than fryin them up at PPV.

I think it's just a matter of what you're promoting to them. On alexa.com it says this about their demographics:

Based on internet averages, directcpv.com is visited more frequently by males who are in the age range 55-64, received some college education and browse this site from home.

I'm not sure how accurate that is, but if you're pushing lipstick offers to that demographic, well I'm not sure how well that would work.

First of all I'm yet to understand how the PPV networks drive us traffic.
We normally scrape url's from google, but how do directcpv interrupt the call to these url's and where??What sites do refer these URLs??
Is google affiliated to these networks anywhere??.

PPV networks have software installed by the user.... with the users permission...

the software monitors all the URL that go thru the brower... including search terms
that are used on search engine.... not just google but bing yahoo etc...

when a TARGETED url or keyword is detected.... that is when our ads are popped up....

so lets day someone is searching for ringtones.... then the CPV network would pop up someones ad about ringtones.....

does that make sense...??
