Default Email Submits fail Here

Just for fun, I decided to launch 10 obvious campaigns direct-linking using email submits. I let them run all day up to abut 250 views each so about 2500 views total, had them popping on their obvious sites. So for a ross gift card, had it popping under ross website. Best buy, same thing. Home depot, etc. you get it.

0 conversions. Not a big deal though, only cost around $10 bucks to get 2500 views. AdOn is so cheap (but now I know why).

I tested each offer afterwards to see if the offer was broken. That wasn't the case, each offer gave me instant submission. So I actually made my money back by putting in a bogus email.

Lesson learned though is don't try obvious method on AdOn using email submits. I guess pop-unders just don't work here.

I just finished setting up my fan club here and I'll see how it does tomorrow. If it's the same case with 0 opt-ins, then I'm done with AdOn for good and (cringe) back to MT.

If anyone has an actual WORKING campaign on AdOn, I'd love to hear about it. Shoot me a PM!

i honestly never use adon cause i HATE their interface, but that being said, i have a few new popunder techniques i'm planning to try on them again soon.

What's with all the haters? lol more traffic for me ;-)

Seriously though you have to think a bit different when using popunders vs popups, but don't write off AdOn completely.

I'm not writing them off, I'm just saying that my direct-linking experiment failed. I mean what else would 2500 views and 0 conversions be over 10 different email submits be? A major failure. Will it work for other people? Maybe. Does it work for me? Hell no. But anyone else can try it you may get better luck. I'm just saying what happened from my experience using the obvious method.

I talked to an AM over at neverblue and he said to try finance stuff so I'll give that a go. Do you have a few converting campaigns on AdOn? Would love some verticals to test out besides the fan clubs I'm launching. Throw me a bone

I'm also going to go thru different networks top EPC campaigns and just launch campaign after campaign. Basically throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.

As you were saying it's pop-under, what sort of methods work on these? Like would the sniper method? Or should I be targeting more root domains instead and hope they fill my offer later?

I agree, direct linking email submits can be hard on AdOn. And even if it does work, you will eventually get scrubbed. There are campaigns that work though for sure, let us know how your fan club does.

If it's any help, i have had success with insurance and biz opp offers in the past.

I made a lady gaga fan club but I've had about 2 views total in 24 hours targeting her main website and similar ones. Maybe I should branch out a bit and try other music artists or something? I don't know lol.

I have asked their sales for their historical data on which offer works well, they suggest the following, hope this will help:

dating, insurance, work from home opportunities, e-mail submits

And I really heard from people that dating work well.

Does AdOn allow audio? Adding simple audio would solve the problem of ads being served as "pop unders." I'm going to test out some stuff here. I smell easy money......

Also with submits don't just go the obvious route. Yeah I still do it, and it works if your traffic is cheap enough, but you're really limiting yourself in terms of traffic and profit potential if you just use obvious targets. My most profitablel email/zip submit campaigns find another way to attack the offer.

Can you share some of it or the way you think when you seeing an email offer?

Let's say you have a Louis Vuitton gift card offer. Instead of just targeting louisvuitton.com try targeting other url's where people might want a Louis Vuitton gift card. Department stores, fashion websites, other women's clothing retailers, etc...... Look at the offer and ask yourself what else you see other than the obvious. Remember that you're dealing with consumers and their shopping patterns, so there are no strict rules. Also remember that you're just placing an ad. Don't over-complicate it....... Think about it as if you were hired by Louis Vuitton to place ads for them. Where could you reach people who might want to buy their stuff? Submits are a piece of cake once you start thinking like this......
