Default 10,000 Impressions In 14 Minutes With Adon

Hi all, I've been targeting URLs (many of them top level domains) and my campaigns including one with around 150 of them were getting few impressions. I decided to try 3 generic keywords to see what traffic was out there, and in the process got over 10,000 (ten thousand) impressions in 14 minutes . Zero conversions though, and went way over my testing budget. Is this number of impressions in a short time normal, or is it an AdonNetwork thing? Thanks.

Paul

Most people here can't get those kind of impressions on AdOn! So I would say you found a very high traffic target which is good. Start really thinking about that target and rotate some offers/landers at and set a cap each day.

Thanks for the reply Sean, I'll try rotating some different relevant offers then. I'm working with a small budget so it scared me to see how fast I hit the limit!

You hit the limit(10000 impression) with no conversion , its really pathetic. Did you used the direct link to your campaign or any landing page?

if you used landing page then how many clicks you recieved?

Direct linking, yeah no conversions with that many impressions was depressing.

Well, it's not necessarily pathetic. In the OP he says he used 3 generic keywords. It is very hard to convert a generic keyword. Let's say one of them was "cars", you can only imagine how many different things people might be looking for or reading about that has nothing to do with auto insurance or whatever the offer is

If you can find a URL with that kind of traffic, then that is different. A URL attracts a certain audience and then you can tailor to them.
